Permanent makeup is a cosmetic technique which employs tattoos (permanent pigmentation of the dermis) as a means of producing designs that resemble makeup, such as eyelining and other permanent enhancing colors to the lips and face. It is also used to produce artificial eyebrows, particularly in people who have lost them as a consequence of aging, disease, such as alopeciatotalis, chemotherapy, thyroid or a genetic disturbance. It is also used to restore or enhance the breast's areolas, such as after breast surgery.
Most commonly called permanent makeup, other names include dermapigmentation, micropigmentation, and cosmetic tattooing.

What is Microblading?
Microblading is a tattooing technique in which a small handheld tool made up of several tiny needles is used to add permanent pigment to the skin. Microblading differs from standard eyebrow tattooing because each hair stroke is created by hand producing a thin, natural looking line that blends in with existing eyebrow hair. It is used on eyebrows to attempt to either create, enhance or reshape the appearance of the eyebrows. Microblading deposits pigment into upper region of the dermis, so it fades more rapidly than traditional tattooing techniques, which deposit pigment deeper into the dermis.
